Friendly Export is a souvenir shop in Thamel in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, popular with tourists.
We opened in 2004.
Ram, a Nepali, opened a small shawl shop.
In 2013, we, Ram and Akimi, a Japanese, got married.
Since then, we have been trying to make a cozy shop which guests to Nepal find satisfying.
Speaking of souvenir from Nepal,
stole made from cashmere or pashmina are popular.
At our shop,
we have a lot of handmade stoles
made in our own factory in Kathmandu.
We have natural lip balm in handmade containers.
Cloth menstrual pad made in a village in Nepal.
We also sell soaps, peanut butter,
honey and coffee,
all in carefully selected quality.

In Friendly Export, in order to have our customers shop without worry, all the goods have tags with fixed prices. You can find souvenirs within your budget as we have a variety of selections from ones of the finest quality to reasonable ones.
Both Ram and Akimi can speak English and Japanese. When you visit us, please ask us about souvenir, Kathmandu, the Nepali culture… anything!
